Almost perfect stroller

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller. We use it 365 days a year in the Midwest. It gets us through beautiful sunny days, rainy days and even snow. Here are the things I love most:

-The canopy. This stroller has to offer the most sun coverage of any stroller I have ever seen. The only time baby gets blinded by sun is at sunset time when it's right at the level or the opening. The canopy has 3 sections so it can be partially pulled back. This canopy is so great that we were walking when I torrential downpour started and baby was dry except for her feet.
-The material & padding. The material is easy to wash (with a hose). Like I mentioned above, we use this thing all the time, so it gets dirty (we have the solid black color). Just today I hosed it down and set it in the sun to dry and it looks like new again. Also, the seat seems very comfy. For it being a lightweight stroller, they still made the ride comfy (or so it seems!)
-Maneuverability. It handles all terrain well and even functions as a jogging stroller. I would not run marathons with it, but for a quick jog it's great. The front wheel can lock straight or swivel which makes it versatile.
-Compact folding. I can honestly say in the 2 years I have owned it, I have only folded it once because we use it everyday and have another stroller for on the go trips. However, when it is folded, its compact. It even fits in our small 4 door compact car trunk, with ease. It's easy to fold & open as well.
-The legroom for the stroller pusher. The basket underneath (which is a nice size and easy to access) has a curved bar on the back side which gives ample room when walking. I have not once hit that bar, which is great.
-Removable zip pouch/storage bag. On the back, there is a zippered pouch that is decent size. I put sunglasses, tissues, cell phone, etc in during our walks. If you want max ventilation, it can be removed (by unzipping) and gives nice air flow to the baby.

Now, for the reasons it only got 4 stars:

1.) As a 6' tall parent the handle bar is not tall enough. It would be so easy to make this handle bar adjustable and go up another 3-4". That alone would make it a 5 star stroller and perfect for tall, average and short parents.
2.) Not necessary, but magnetic closure for the peek-a-boo window would be nice. The velcro is loud and if baby is asleep startles or wakes baby. I would prefer magnetic.
3.) It reclines pretty far, though not flat, but it does not sit very straight. I have the seat as upright as it can go and my toddler sits forward because she likes to see everything. Allowing it to go up another 2" would be nice so they could sit back and still have a nice view.

2 products I recommend to go with this:
-The Britax child tray (Britax B-Agile Stroller Child Tray) is nice when #3 above occurs and the child wants to sit more upright to get a better view. She holds onto the tray to do this. It's also nice for snacks and a sippy cup. We didn't attach the tray on until she was 10 months.
-The bug net. (Britax B-Agile Stroller UV Mosquito Net) Though it doesn't keep 100% of the mosquitoes out, it saves baby from getting eaten alive during our summer evening walks.

Overall, this is a great stroller. We have put thousands of miles on it and it's still awesome. Now I just need Britax to make the above improvements (mainly the taller & adjustable handle bar) and apply to the double so I can get it before baby #2 arrives!

Peacock Blue Looks Much Different than Photo; Nonetheless, an Excellent Product

The peacock blue color is much darker and less vibrant than I was expecting based upon the photo. I know every computer monitor is different, but on my monitor it appears a bright cerulean blue; Upon inspection, I would describe it more as a dark teal.

Nonetheless, it is clearly a quality product, and I am very pleased with it. Out of the box, I needed only to attach the wheels, which locked in place with a simple click (no tools needed), connect the canopy and position the fabric in place by lining up the velcro strips, and attach the car seat adapters for use with the Britax B-Safe car seat (not included). The entire assembly took five minutes, and it was so intuitive I didn't need to refer to the manual.

The materials are sturdy and the overall design is well-executed. The stroller glides effortlessly.

So other than the color shock, I am very happy with my purchase.

LOVE IT!

I was so, so picky about finding a stroller and finally settled for this one. Some of my criteria that I was looking for was: a large sunshade, steers easily, rolls smoothly, folds up quite small, weighs next to nothing, easy to open and close, has lots of storage, buckle not too hard to clip, easy to travel on the airline with, washable, can use from day one until the child should no longer be able to use it, many colors available, and is greatly reviewed by other users. Out of all those criteria, this stroller meets all, but one, the storage. It really is such a small basket on the bottom which may be a huge deal breaker for some, especially me, but I have found ways around that with a few accessories from amazon. These are the things I bought:

Of course you can buy other accessories, but I found these were the best for me and I am one to research products for hours, even days before I am absolutely satisfied with what I am going to buy. I hope this helps. Also, if you are looking for a cheap stroller, wait till there is an open box on Amazon. You'll see a little button below the price area and mostly they are just damaged boxes, not products for way cheaper. I didn't get one at the time, but a few days later, I saw this for only $147 open box.

Snagged at store, display mod

So, had I just read the reviews online here at Amazon, I would not have purchased this stroller. But luckily i saw this in the store before looking online. Surprised at the bad reviews!! That being said, very very pleased with this stroller!! It fit my needs for versatility, style, and comfort perfectly!!!

1. Car trunk storage space: I have a big SUV so trunk space is not an issue. Folds flat with wheels sticking out still, but I really like that cuz the stroller fabric or frame never touches the floor and no topple issue! (Other people may want a much flatter fold and don't care about fabric frame touching ground). Front wheel easily comes on and off with a one button push if you need to.

2. Ease in getting in and out of car: Travel a lot with baby by myself, so the one click super easy fold is AWESOME!! I work out with weights, was still a little heavy, but i kept on using it and got used to the weight!! ;-). Now its easy to get in and out of my trunk, and my big baby is now easier to carry because of the exercise LOL! I wouldn't recommend for those who don't like any weight..or have issues with carrying heavy things.

3. Style: beautiful frame. elegant looking big stroller. Walk around a ritzy metro area a lot, and this is very stylish. All black with some minor red accents. Does not look clunky or rugged (what I hate in other all-around strollers). Back wheel base is wide, so can't get through some narrow areas.

4. Storage: SO MUCH space under the stroller. I'm a pack rat when pushing my baby around and this is exactly what the doctor ordered! ;-). I had the chico keyfit caddy previously (TONS of storage) and thought I would miss it once baby outgrew it... Not with this stroller!!

5. Excercise: So I do a lot of brisk walking around the neighborhood and a stadium track for exercise. NEVER had an issue. It performs flawlessly, and maneuvers at the drop of the hat. I don't jog because I don't like what it does to your knees.. So never tested it while jogging. But, I did bring it up to a local wide dirt mountain hiking trail the other day. I hiked up steep 30 degrees or less up and down somewhat bumpy dirt terrain with the under basket fully loaded ( diaper bag, sweaters, food, water, large mat) and it performed flawlessly. My 9 month old baby napped
Half of the 10 mile hike on this sunny hot day, (thanks also to the super great 180 degree shade!) When he woke up he was still shaded and was looking back at mommy a lot and smiling!! (Through the mesh top window)

6. Comfort: walking long distances is so comfy for me with this. One hand steering and push, huge rubber (never flat) wheels that are quiet and smooth. Maneuverability is fantastic! Fully height adjustable push bar, comfy foam grip. One step brake. Easy, quick, brake on and off. Goes over street curbs easily. Baby loves it too! Starting at 6 months used without baby insert, he always slept in it or never cried..just cooes!! (Love you Graco!). Adjustable seat folds 3 ways, flat, recline, and almost fully upright. Full sun shade, sides have clear tinted plastic (like tinted car windows) so baby can see whats going on around him even when sun shade is over him. There are no shock absorbers on the wheels, but even with that in mind, the strollers bumps with the bumps on the road, but the frame is so stable, so no scary rattling ("oh my god stroller going to come apart") feeling. The frame is lightweight and very sturdy. the baby seems so secure in it and doesn't mind!

7. Accressories: there are no cup holders or trays. I bought a chilldles accessory that holds two bottles and a zip compartment (for keys money and phone) and attached it to the bar for $13! Voila! (If i had to pay 50 bucks for one, then i would start complaining..but 13 dollars is nothing for a 300 dollar stroller) The bar comes in and out with one click. Very secure fit with lots of soft padding. Lined with tough material. My baby likes to chew on it with his 8 teeth and I don't worry. The step is lined with no-skid round rubber bumps. Nice quality. 5 point harness releases with one click.

8. Convenience: this easy to adjust handle is great when hubby and I taking turns pushing. We are very different heights. One hand push is great, handles very well. One step brake is great. Easy to adjust 180 degree sun shade is great. Basket lowers for loading is great! One knob turn lock or swivel for front wheel is great! Seat recline to 180 degrees easy to change babies diapers when no bathroom is available.

9. who this is and is not for: Not for those with little car storage, unable to carry heavy items, need to go places with narrow areas, or frequent very short trips.
Who this is for: need versatile, stylish stroller with lots of storage for half hour or more trips even for very hot sunny days or indoors at mall, park, trail, neighborhood, beach. Car storage not an issue and able to handle weight when loading and unloading.

9. Overall: great quality, well-built, nice material, good lightweight materials (though stroller is heavy-ish) for the size, it's lighter than you'd expect. But this is no umbrella stroller.. I love to take long day-trips with this, as its so comfy for me to push and baby to lay in and so much under storage for diaper bag food and sweaters: mall, mountain trails, neighborhood walks, brisk stadium walks with other mommies, parks, city strolls. Mommy clip works fantastic with this, I can load grocery bags on this.
Not a super compact or super lightweight stroller. But the super and convenience and comfort for longer trips outweighs this.

GREAT SYSTEM!!!!!!!

My son is now 7 months and we walk 4-7 miles 4x a week. This stroller does great on all terrain. Some of the neighborhoods we walk have unfinished sidewalks, but the stroller is great, with or without the carseat,he sleeps through all the bumps.So easy to steer one handed!!!!! I was most impressed with this. It, also, collapses easily with one hand, and fits fine in the back of my minivan without removing the front tire (even though it does remove easily)Basket holds a lot. We walk to the grocery story and it has carried 2 gallons of milk and a couple grocery bags. I bought a velcro cupholder/utility thing to put on the handle and it works great. I usually hang the diaper bag over the handle (no need to buy those clips that are so popular right now). So, we can pack quite a bit of cargo LOL. The adjustable handle is wonderful, too.I'm 5'8" and keep it all the way up, but it adjusts quickly for my sister or MIL, and even goes low enough that my 6 year old can push little brother when we are all out.
The carseat is heavy, but very sturdy and super easy to clean <---- VERY IMPORTANT!!! So far, this system is all we've used since he was born. He is almost too heavy to use the carrier anymore. It goes up to 30lbs, and he's only at 22,but 22+the carrier (which, when i weighed it, it registered at nearly 10 lbs not 7.5) is a lot to tote around. We are going to put him in a convertable carseat, but keep using the stroller.

16 months of disappointment

This was a baby shower gift for my now 16 month old. While I do love the look of the stroller, a few key issues that I have are 1) as previously mentioned, no parent/child cups, I wouldn't mind so much if Graco had at least made something available that I could purchase separately, but they still haven't made anything. 2) the hulk, or in this case, bulk, of the stroller. It's monstrous, it really is, it's not lightweight either, the only way we can use it is by putting it in the bed of my truck, but again, because it's so heavy, this isn't easy. It fits no where in my husbands four door full size sedan, not even the backseat or front seat (obviously we tried the trunk first, but when that was a loss, we were desperate). 3) once the baby no longer stays in the carseat and sits directly in the stroller the sunshade no longer offers adequate cover. Even all the way down it only provides shade for her head, her legs get no sun protection whatsoever, at any point, in any position, EVER. We live in TX, so this is an issue for me when we take walks and go to the zoo, etc. We plan to have another child in another couple of years, and a new stroller will definitely be our one big purchase. The carseat I can honestly say I'm happy with, however, it is black and the material is the mess resistant plasticky stuff, so it does get hot if you leave the carseat in the car and out in the sun. We always park in the garage so this hasn't been too much of an issue, except for long shopping trips and the Texas heat got to it, in which case we had to start the AC for about 20 minutes and give the seat time to cool down. However, my daughter is very tall at 16 months old and we still have another shoulder notch to get to, which I like for extended rear facing purposes. Mine was purchased at a Babies r us in October 2011, not sure if they have updated any of the issues that I mentioned since then.

Worth every penny

I bought this item on a limb, there were barley any reviews or anything. I absolutley love this product. The jogging stroller itself was not hard to assemble at all when you follow the instructions. Once built the stroller is extremley light weight and perfect for jogging. The Jogger I recived had a bad battery, but once I got a new one the pedometer was great. I would fix the volume level on the mp3 player, or at least have it come with a volume control. The car seat does sit very upright as I have read in some reviews, but that was perfect for myself, considering that my Little one loves to look around at the world when we are out jogging. This stroller is not made to jog in while car seat is attached! Than the product would be wobble due to the improper distribution of weight. The parent tray is wonderful, and fits my wide based avent bottles all the way too 11 oz, and the storage is wonderfully large, fitting my diaper bag and things without affecting the stroller negativley. I did not however purchase this item through amazon, Because it was 259 for the stroller and 268 for shipping and handling to a guam military information, and for any military out there, that is a rip off since all companies do not have to pay extra money to ship out to military bases.

Bottom line, I would recommend to a friend, infact I'm getting complaints every day!

Breaks after a few months

The meter that measures how far you walk never worked. The speakers do not work. The tires lose air all the time. The car seat stops locking into the base after a while and the company is quick to tell you on their web site they want proof of why things aren't working and will decide if they will give you a return number. Once they get your money, they want nothing to do with you anymore. Our baby outgrew the car seat already at 4 months. He is way too long for the tiny car seat and too small for the big part of the stroller. sigh.
